The Dynasty Fitness Rubber Hex Dumbbell Set is a commercial-grade free weight set with solid steel heads encased in high-quality virgin rubber and contoured chrome handles for a secure, comfortable grip. The hexagonal head shape stops the dumbbells rolling and holds them stable for floor work and renegade rows.

Available in three set sizes from 5-50 lb, 5-75 lb, and 5-100 lb in 5 lb increments, each dumbbell carries a tight +/- 3% weight tolerance and is backed by a 5-year commercial warranty.

Virgin rubber encasement: Protects the steel head, the floor, and the dumbbell itself from impact damage, with less odour and longer life than recycled rubber.
Contoured chrome handle: Shaped to fit the hand and finished in chrome for a secure grip that holds through high-rep and sweaty sets.
Three set sizes:
- DB550 — 5-50 lb set, 5 lb increments
- DB575 — 5-75 lb set, 5 lb increments
- DB5100 — 5-100 lb set, 5 lb increments
+/- 3% weight tolerance: Tighter than standard commercial rubber dumbbells, keeping left and right pairs closely matched for balanced training.

Q: What is the difference between rubber hex and urethane dumbbells?
A: Both encase a steel head to protect the floor and the weight, but they differ in finish and cost. Rubber hex dumbbells are the commercial standard and the better value, with the hexagonal shape stopping them rolling. Urethane costs more and resists odour and marking longer. For most home and commercial gyms, rubber hex is the practical choice.

Q: Why is the hexagonal head shape better than round?
A: The flat sides of the hex head stop the dumbbell rolling when set down, which keeps it stable for floor exercises like renegade rows, push-ups on the handles, and devil presses. Round-head dumbbells roll away the moment they are placed down, which makes them less practical for floor-based training.

Q: What does the +/- 3% weight tolerance mean?
A: It means each dumbbell is within 3% of its stated weight, so a 50 lb dumbbell falls between roughly 48.5 and 51.5 lb. This is tighter than the +/- 5% tolerance standard rubber dumbbells usually carry, which keeps your left and right pairs closely matched for balanced, accurate loading.

Q: Can I buy individual pairs or only complete sets?
A: These are sold as complete sets, 5-50 lb, 5-75 lb, or 5-100 lb. Individual weights exist across the full 5 to 100 lb range in 5 lb increments. To extend an existing set, for example adding 55-75 lb to a 5-50 lb set, contact us directly to discuss pair or range options.

Q: What is virgin rubber and why does it matter?
A: Virgin rubber is new, unrecycled material, unlike the recycled rubber used on many budget dumbbells. It produces far less odour, resists cracking and splitting under repeated impact, and holds its finish longer. In a commercial setting where dumbbells are dropped and handled daily, virgin rubber lasts significantly longer.

Q: Which rack fits these dumbbells?
A: Match the rack to your set size. A Dynasty Fitness Dumbbell Rack holds the 5-50, 5-75, or 5-100 lb set on its angled flat rails, and pairs with an Adjustable Bench DRE6016 for the full dumbbell training library.
