A bench is the most used piece of equipment in any gym. It is where you press, where you row, where you curl, and where most of your accessory work happens. Our range covers every version, from a simple flat bench to Olympic benches with integrated racks, adjustable benches that move through incline and decline, and specialty units built for preacher curls, seal rows, and glute ham raises. All commercial grade, all backed by our lifetime warranty.

Commercial Weight Benches Built for Every Lift

The bench is the most overlooked purchase in a gym build. People spend carefully on machines and racks, then treat the bench as an afterthought. That is usually a mistake. A bench that flexes under load changes how you press, and a pad that compresses after six months changes how you sit. You feel it on every single set.

Commercial benches solve this with heavier frames, denser padding, and wider bases. The difference is not subtle. A residential bench is built to a price point with a weight limit that assumes light use. A commercial bench is built to survive a full gym floor, which is exactly why it makes sense in a home gym where it will outlast everything around it.

Adjustable Benches: One Bench, Every Angle

If you are buying one bench, buy an adjustable one. The ability to move from flat to incline to decline turns a single piece of equipment into the foundation for your entire pressing and dumbbell program.

  • The Adjustable Bench DRE6016 is our most popular unit and the default recommendation for most home gyms. Multiple back pad positions, a stable wide base, and a footprint that fits in a garage.
  • The Flat Incline Decline Bench DRRR adds a proper decline setting with leg rollers, which matters if you want lower chest work and weighted sit ups from the same bench.

Flat Benches: Stability Above Everything

A dedicated flat bench has one job, and it does that job better than any adjustable unit. No hinge, no gap between pads, no mechanism to shift under a heavy press. For anyone who benches seriously, a fixed flat bench next to a rack is worth the floor space.

  • The Flat Bench DRE6014 gives you a continuous pad surface and a low profile that suits heavy barbell and dumbbell pressing.
  • The Fixed Upright Bench DRE6024 is the seated option, built for shoulder pressing and seated dumbbell work where you want a solid back support at a fixed vertical angle.

Olympic Benches: Bench and Rack in One Unit

An Olympic bench carries its own barbell uprights, so you do not need a separate rack to press. For a garage gym or a studio short on space, this removes a whole piece of equipment from the floor plan.

Specialty Benches for Isolation Work

Once the pressing is covered, specialty benches are what separate a good gym from a complete one. Each of these exists because a general bench cannot hold the position the exercise actually requires.

  • The Preacher Bench DRE6020 locks your upper arms against an angled pad so the biceps work without any help from the shoulders or lower back.
  • The Seal Row Bench DRE6042 suspends you face down above the floor, which removes every bit of leg drive and body english from a row. It is the strictest back exercise you can do with a barbell.
  • The Multi Ab Bench DRE6025 adjusts through multiple decline angles for sit ups and crunches, with secure leg anchoring so you can add weight as you progress.

Posterior Chain and Glute Ham Work

The glute ham raise is one of the hardest bodyweight movements in training, and it needs a dedicated frame to perform properly.

  • The Glute/Ham Developer Bench DRE6032 is a full GHD setup with adjustable foot plate and hip pad positioning. It covers glute ham raises, back extensions, and hip extensions from a single station.
  • For hamstring work specifically, the Nordic Hamstring Curl Machine DRE6043 in our lower body range handles the Nordic curl, which is one of the strongest eccentric hamstring exercises available.

Which Bench Should You Buy First?

For most people building a home gym, the order is simple. Start with an adjustable bench, because it covers the widest range of work. Add a flat bench once you are pressing heavy and want the extra stability. Bring in specialty benches when your program calls for them, not before.

If you are outfitting a commercial floor, plan for two to three adjustable benches per rack and at least one dedicated flat bench. Pair these with our Dumbbells and Racks and Barbells and Racks collections to complete the free weight area. Every bench ships free to the 48 contiguous states, financing is available, and we accept HSA and FSA payments. You can test any bench in person at our Venice showroom.
