Key Features

1.

-20° Fixed Ergonomic Decline Back Pad

The back pad is set at a fixed -20° decline, which positions the lower fibres of the sternal head of the pectoralis major as the primary driver of the press. At this angle the anterior deltoid contribution drops significantly compared to flat pressing, which means the chest absorbs more of the total load on each rep. The fixed geometry also keeps the pressing angle consistent across every user and every session, which matters for tracking progress in a movement where pad angle variation would make week-to-week comparisons unreliable.
2.

6-Position Adjustable Leg Hold-Down

The leg hold-down adjusts to 6 positions via a pop pin to secure users of different heights into the decline position during pressing. On a decline bench the body naturally wants to slide toward the head-end of the pad under load, and the leg hold-down is the only thing preventing that from happening. A correctly set hold-down keeps the hips stable, the back flat against the pad, and the pressing angle consistent throughout the entire set. The 6 positions cover the range from shorter to taller lifters without requiring tool adjustments between users.
3.

Two-Height Barbell Hooks

The uprights carry two hook positions to match different arm lengths and lift-off preferences. The ideal unrack on a decline bench puts the bar at a height where the arms are nearly extended without the bar travelling through a wide arc before clearing the hook. Having two heights available means both a lifter with shorter arms and one with longer arms can find a natural starting position rather than both compromising into an awkward unrack that costs energy before the working set begins.
4.

Short Barbell Hook Design

The compact hook geometry shortens the horizontal distance the barbell travels to clear the hook during the unrack. On a longer hook the bar has to arc through a greater distance before it is free for the press, which introduces lateral drift and shoulder activation that should not be part of the working set. The shorter arc makes the unrack cleaner and faster, particularly relevant at heavier training loads where any unnecessary movement at the start of a set compounds through the rep.
5.

Three-Level Removable Safety Arms

The catch arms set to 3 height positions, allowing each user to place them at the point just above the chest so a failed rep is caught securely. On a decline bench this matters more than on a flat bench because retrieving a dropped bar from the decline position is harder to do safely without a spotter. When training with a partner, the arms pull off and store on the integrated hooks on the uprights so they are completely out of the working path but immediately accessible again. The arms are rated to the same 661 lb capacity as the rest of the station.
6.

Four Barbell Rods with Rubber Bumpers

Each upright carries two barbell rods forming the hook pair, giving four total contact points across the station. The rubber bumpers on each rod cushion the barbell during racking and protect the hook surface from wear. In a commercial setting where the same bar is racked and unracked throughout the day, this extends the service life of both the hooks and the barbell's knurling over time.
