How do the side handles improve exercises like the reverse crunch?

When performing a reverse crunch or leg raise your upper body naturally wants to lift off the pad. The dual side handles give you a solid anchor point to actively pull against. This locks your torso completely flat against the bench and forces your lower abdominals to perform the work without momentum.

Is it difficult to get into position when the bench is at the steepest decline?

Getting into a steep decline can be awkward on standard benches. We designed this unit with a dedicated central upper handle positioned right between the foam leg rollers. This gives you a highly secure grip to safely lower yourself into the starting position and pull yourself out when the set is over.

Can I easily move this bench out of the way in a smaller personal training studio?

Yes. Despite the heavy 48kg commercial frame this bench is highly mobile. It features a rubber-coated handle on the front and heavy-duty transport wheels on the rear base. You can easily lift the front end and roll it to a corner to maximize your floor space for other movements.

Exercises and muscles targeted

Exercise	Muscles Targeted
Decline Sit-Up	Rectus Abdominis, Hip Flexors (secondary)
Reverse Crunch	Lower Rectus Abdominis, Transverse Abdominis (stabiliser)
Decline Leg Raise	Lower Rectus Abdominis, Hip Flexors (secondary)
Decline Russian Twist	Internal Obliques , External Obliques, Rectus Abdominis (stabiliser)

The 7-position adjustable back pad allows you to manipulate gravity to intensify your core training. Securing your legs isolates the abdominal wall and prevents momentum from taking over the movement. This bench directly supports building functional core strength and aesthetic abdominal development.

How to setup and use

Setting Up the DRE6025 Multi Ab Bench

Position the bench on a flat, level surface with adequate clear space around all sides. Use the rubber-coated front handle and transport wheels to roll the bench into the correct position before beginning.
Set the back pad to one of 7 angle positions depending on the exercise and your current fitness level. A steeper decline angle increases the difficulty of sit-ups and crunches. A more upright angle reduces the difficulty and is the correct starting point for new users or early rehabilitation loading.
Secure both legs under the dual leg locking bars. The twin bars should contact the lower shin and calf firmly enough to hold the legs in position throughout the movement without causing ankle or shin discomfort.
Use the central upper handle to mount and dismount safely. Always grip the central handle when getting on or off the bench to prevent the body from sliding or the bench from tipping.

Performing Sit-Ups and Crunches

Lie back against the angled pad with both legs secured under the locking bars and both hands either crossed at the chest, placed behind the head, or gripping the side handles depending on the exercise.
For sit-ups, drive the torso upward from the declined starting position using the abdominals and hip flexors until the torso is fully upright. Lower under control back to the starting position.
For crunches, drive only the upper torso upward by contracting the rectus abdominis rather than performing a full sit-up. The lower back stays in contact with the pad throughout the crunch arc.
For reverse crunches and leg raises, grip the side handles on both sides of the bench to stabilise the upper body and drive the knees toward the chest or raise the legs upward through the hip flexion arc.
Control the eccentric lowering phase on every rep rather than allowing the torso or legs to drop under gravity.

Who this machine is built for

Commercial Gym Owners and Operators
You need durable core stations that handle relentless daily use. The 48kg solid frame easily survives the most demanding fitness environments. Transport wheels and a front handle let your staff easily reposition the bench to maximize floor efficiency.

Serious Home Gym Builders
You want a professional core training setup without compromising on stability. This unit delivers the exact 7-position angle adjustment found in elite training facilities. The dual-leg locking system anchors your lower body securely so you can focus entirely on abdominal contraction.

Bodybuilders and Physique Athletes
You demand absolute isolation to build thick and defined abdominal muscles. The side handles allow you to grip tight and stabilize your torso during heavy reverse crunches. This eliminates unwanted body sway and forces maximum tension directly into the target muscles.

Private Personal Training Studios
You require versatile equipment to train clients across a wide spectrum of fitness levels. The easily adjustable back pad allows you to scale the difficulty of sit-ups instantly. The central upper handle gives your clients a safe and highly stable grip when mounting or dismounting the bench.

Key Features

7-Position Adjustable Back Pad

The back pad assembly provides 7 unique locking positions to modify the angle of decline. This adjustment allows you to increase or decrease the gravitational resistance applied to your abdominal muscles. Lifters of all experience levels benefit by perfectly scaling their core training intensity.

Dual-Leg Stabilization System

This bench utilizes twin locking bars combined with a heavy-duty central mounting handle. This design firmly anchors your lower body to prevent sliding during steep decline movements. Users pushing heavy weighted sit-ups benefit from total lower body lockdown and strict movement isolation.

Side-Mounted Torso Stability Handles

Ergonomic handles are welded directly to both sides of the main cushion frame. These anchor points allow you to grip the bench tightly to stabilize your upper body during leg raises. Advanced trainees benefit by completely eliminating torso sway during lower abdominal isolation exercises.

Integrated Transport and Mobility System

A rubber-coated front lifting handle pairs directly with heavy-duty rear transport wheels. This mobility system lets you easily lift and roll the 48kg frame across the gym floor. Facility operators benefit by rapidly clearing space or grouping the bench with other equipment.

The Foundation Every Serious Gym is Built On

Dynasty Rise line

The Dynasty Rise Line is the foundation series of the Dynasty Fitness lineup, a complete collection of benches, bodyweight training stations, specialty strength tools, and training accessories built to the same commercial standard as the rest of the Dynasty range.

Every serious training space starts here. Flat, incline, decline, and Olympic benches for barbell and dumbbell pressing across every angle. An adjustable bench, preacher bench, and multi ab bench covering every seated and supported training position. A 7° Angled Smith Machine for guided barbell compound work. Bodyweight stations including the Multi Pull Up/Dip Rack and 45° Hyperextension for posterior chain and upper body development without a selectorized stack. Specialty posterior chain machines including the Glute/Ham Developer Bench, Nordic Hamstring Curl Machine, and Seal Row Bench for the movements that most gym equipment simply does not cover. And the storage and organisation tools, including the Weight Plate Tree, to keep the training floor clean and efficient.

Where the Dynasty Resistance Elite DRE80 series builds the selectorized core of your training floor, the Dynasty Rise Line builds everything around it. Commercial-grade steel construction, consistent matte grey finish, and Dynasty's quality standard across every piece, because the foundation of your gym deserves the same standard as the flagship machines sitting on top of it.
