The DRE8046's 12 vertical × 6 horizontal position system per arm produces the cable angle combinations that cover every major exercise pattern — pressing, pulling, rotating, and lower body cable work — from one machine. Setting both arms to the same height and horizontal position produces bilateral cable exercises. Setting them differently produces the diagonal and asymmetric cable paths that rotational, functional, and sport-specific movement patterns require. The two independent stacks allow each arm to run at a different load within the same bilateral exercise or across alternating unilateral sets.
